Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between $99, $250, and $350 per hour?
$99/hr is DIY rental — studio space + pro lighting only (2-hr min). $250/hr adds 3-camera multi-cam recording, pro audio, our sound engineer, and cloud delivery (1-hr min). $350/hr is Full Filming Service — live switching, 1080p livestream, teleprompter, vertical 9:16 cuts, and final edited delivery (1-hr min). Most podcasters book the $350 tier.
How long should I book for my first podcast session?
Most first-time podcasters book 2-3 hours. That covers ~30 min setup and mic check, 60-90 min recording, and 30 min wrap and review. If you’re recording multiple episodes back-to-back, plan 1-1.5 hours per episode after the initial setup.
Do you have a sound engineer on staff?
Yes — our sound engineer is included with the $250/hr (Podcast Recording) and $350/hr (Full Filming) tiers. They handle mic checks, levels, multi-track recording, and on-site monitoring so you can focus on the conversation. Self-service $99/hr does not include an engineer.
Is there free parking at the studio?
Yes — free parking is available on-site at 2021 Tyler St, Suite #208B, Hollywood, FL 33020. Plenty of spaces in front of and adjacent to the building.
What cameras do you use?
We use 4 cameras — 2× Sony 8K plus 2× Sony 4K with cinematic autofocus lenses. Multi-cam setup is standard with the $250/hr (Podcast Recording) and $350/hr (Full Filming) tiers. Plus 60cm motorized slider, green screen, and teleprompter when needed.
Do you offer monthly memberships?
Yes — three tiers. $800/mo gets you 10 hours of DIY rental ($80/hr effective). $1,100/mo — 15 hours DIY ($73/hr effective). $1,500/mo — 10 hours with cameras + assistant ($150/hr effective). Hours expire 30 days after purchase, no rollover. See /packages for details.
What areas around Hollywood do you serve?
Our studio is in Hollywood, FL with a 30-mile service radius covering Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, Sunny Isles, Hallandale, Brickell, Wynwood, Doral, Boca Raton, Pembroke Pines, Miami Beach, Pompano Beach, and the rest of South Florida. Most clients drive 10-25 minutes to the studio.
Do you offer livestream?
Yes — livestream is included with the $350/hr Full Filming Service tier. We support 1080p live to YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), or any custom RTMP destination. Our Yolobox Ultra handles multi-cam switching live, and clients have streamed to networks like CBC News.
Can I bring my own videographer or crew?
Yes — with the $99/hr DIY rental tier (2-hr minimum). You get the studio space and pro lighting; you bring your own videographer, microphones, cameras, and any team. Best for creators or agencies who already have their own gear and crew.
What’s your cancellation and reschedule policy?
Full refund (minus payment processing fees) if you cancel at least 3 days before your booking. You can reschedule up to 1 day before your reserved time by contacting us at (786) 919-9666 or via WhatsApp / Setmore.
How do I receive my recorded files?
Files are delivered via cloud (Google Drive, Dropbox, or YandexDisk). Cloud Upload is a +$50 add-on that gives you up to 150 GB of fast delivery. With $250/hr Podcast Recording you get raw multi-track files; with $350/hr Full Filming Service you get final edited delivery.
Do you have a green screen / chroma key studio?
Yes. Zone 5 — our Creator Lab — is a dedicated green screen / chroma key studio designed for YouTube creators, TikTok shorts, Instagram Reels, virtual backgrounds, and visual effects work. We also have Zone 3 (White Cyclorama) for clean infinity-wall shots and Zone 6 (Backdrop) with white, black, red, and yellow backdrops. The Creator Lab includes professional even lighting to eliminate shadows on the green screen, plus all our standard cinema gear. Pricing follows the standard tiers: $99/hr DIY, $250/hr with cameras and engineer, or $350/hr full filming.
What languages do you speak (English, Russian, Spanish)?
Our team is fully bilingual English and Russian, and we work comfortably with Spanish-speaking clients as well — important in the Miami market where 70% of the population speaks Spanish. Our team includes Nik (Russian-speaking clients) and Kris (English-speaking clients). We’ve recorded podcasts and produced content in all three languages, including bilingual shows that switch between English and Russian or English and Spanish. This makes ProStudio1 one of the few studios in South Florida equipped for Eastern European, Latin American, and US creator audiences alike. Call (786) 919-9666 in any of these languages.
